Footage from a random (late) point in Live A Live, one of Squaresoft's most unusual RPGs. Recorded off of original hardware. While we may eventually go and upload a segment from each of the character's quest, this is the only video for the time being, unless we upload the final battle and ending. A little about this game:

In this game, you take control of many different individuals who each have their own unique scenario and life, ranging from a robot to martial artists to a rebel with the ability to read minds and more. The fighting and everything is far from the norm in a Square RPG. Characters can move around the field in semi-realtime fashion and learn various techniques which have a wide range of effects, from simply overwhelming the enemy with brute strength to inflicting minimal physical damage but unleashing various status abnormalities from paralysis and sleep to broken arms and legs/feet.

Of course, you don't need me to tell you much more than that. This video is little more than a token gesture for those in the know. This game has since been fan-translated and I'm sure many have played it to death with ye olde rom and emulator. Enjoy.
