Live A Live – One of the most unique RPGs on Nintendo Switch, our Live a Live review
Little Orpheus will be released on PC on September 13, and consoles ae RPG game Live A Live was released exclusively in Japan in 1994. Now Live A Live is back in the form of a remake and this time the game is playable everywhere on Nintendo Switch. In this review you can read whether the Nintendo Switch version of Live A Live is worth playing.
In Live A Live you play as seven different characters, each from their own time, namely: prehistory, medieval Japan, imperial China, the wild west, the present, the near future and the far future. The stories each last between 1 and 2.5 hours. At first glance, all the stories seem to be separate from each other, but in the end everything comes together nicely. The ending is really fantastic and is something you have to experience for yourself.
Live A Live is a game with a fantastic story that is well put together and contains a large dose of humor. The game is graphically impressive and manages to take this style to a new level, even on a less powerful console like the Nintendo Switch.
The only aspect that is less in Live A Live, are the fights. Apart from the bosses, there is little variation in enemies and the battles feel a bit monotonous because of this. This does not alter the fact that Live A Live as a whole is a great experience, so this Nintendo Switch game is definitely worth a try!
