Megalovania has solidified itself in the Boss Battle Music Hall of Fame. But where did this catchy tune come from? Toby Fox has gone on to say the name is based on another song called "Megalomania" from a 1994 RPG known as Live-A-Live. Although it has a small following, not many people talk about this game. It was made by an all-star team that would go on to be involved in the creation of hits like Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Mother 3, and other major hits. This game has never left Japan and I need Square to bring it over. So we'll be diving deep into each chapter of Live-A-Live in painstaking detail and I want you all to share this with fellow classic RPG fans so we can finally get this to the west. As an aside, Square had indeed filed a trademark for LIVE A LIVE in the US, so I have my fingers crossed.
