Yes, these are going to be for sale - just while I'm working out the selling details ( PayPal buttons etc ) I'll keep building them.
Why reinvent the wheel?
* Much narrower design, allows for more upright tool positioning with hot-air wand and soldering iron
* Superior CRI; brightness alone isn't much use when the spectrum is so poor that the colour rendering is hopeless. I've selected 95+ CRI LED units
* Chip LEDs with built in diffusers; no more seeing a swarm of pin light sources; the integrated diffusers mean reflections off flux and liquids aren't as blinding
