Live Chat: Berger Reacts to Trade
He scored the first ever goal in the Hounds history and set career highs in all scoring categories in 2012. But after a year in Charlotte, 6-Time MLL All-Star Stephen Berger is on the move back to New York.
On February 15th the Hounds traded Berger to the New York Lizards in exchange for A Ryan Young, M Colin Briggs, and their 3rd round selection in the 2014 Collegiate Draft. The Hounds then traded Briggs to the Cannons in exchange for their 2nd round selection in the 2014 Collegiate Draft.
Berger spent his entire MLL Career playing for the Lizards before being traded to the Hounds as part of a blockbuster deal that sent Berger, Matt Danowski to Charlotte in exchange for the Max Quinzani and the #1 Overall Selection in the 2012 MLL Collegiate Draft (Rob Pannel).
Berger has 171 Career Goals and 53 Assists.
