Live for Speed Playthrought Test
Sorry audio no enable till i found out at 03:32:10?
i also disable the mic and forget in some occasions.
Wheel use is the Thrustmaster T248+T3PM brake on the softest setting then change to the hardest at 03:00:15 (just insane non practical still better but ridicusly non realistic, real brake are not 100% hard from the initial position, they gradually get stiffer) i have change it to a softer brake since the small rig dosent allow me to keep that setting, as the chair tilt back for the force i apply. Also i dint go to 100% i think is do to the spacer i have remove that. Using a folding rig that can be use with a office chair with wheels, but the chair is on his last one. If the chair wasnt tilting backward i will have keep it on hard.
Well the game is really interesting for holding on for over 20 years since 2003.
This game free version is more like a Demo version you are getting a 5% o the entire game to try, thats relate to 3 cars and 1 track(3layouts).
On the single player you get around 20 challenges, that they extend in the pay version for more. they are pretty decent they got me invested for 7hours
a found something weird with the BMW F1 it stop doing the upshift at gear 3, and will do it only when you let go the throttle or ad clutch, even do it is on automatic clutch.
also the BMW loss power by a lot on the straight(im guessing it requires tuning as i see many other videos that manage a time of 1.13m when i only could do 1.18 as best-04:31:36)
Graphicly is impressive they definitely have update the game at least the tracks but cars are still lacking in quality.
FFB is really good but is not always present sometimes it just feels like it is off, but when it is present is pretty good when it reflect the weight transfer or when you get knock by other opponents on a blind spot.
AI in this game is aggressive as f. they will not try to do a clean race at all, if you are in there line you are going out. soo they are going to be hard to overtake. in the end i try lower AI to see and the difference will be speed cap. also AI alone is just dumb vs other ai, if you put a lvl 1 in front they will not overtake slow the pack down.
Even do it lacks of content in this demo it will give you a proper 7h of entertainment and that is stretching it up.
Now about the elephant in the room, the pricing structure for the full game. do the game is divide by content S1(+6cars+3track)-12£ / S2(+11c+3t)-24£ / S3(+1t+enabling mod)-36£Total 17c+7t in my opinion a bit excessive for what it is offer. still i think they are planning in life time update no sure if they will add more content, mods id the most standing out new content that has been done by community. in my opinion they price should be 4/8/10 at most, they do have a pretty big competition with AssettoCorsa1/2, automobilista1/2, iRacing, rF2, Forza, RaceRoom, Grid, Rennsport?¿ that you can find for less than 10 each, if you miss the bundle from Humble that it was 12forAll for a few of them. they do have it hard to capture new players other than for the now and them casual SimRace influencer that do a video about it. not saying that you are not gonna have fun with the game, but you probably be burnout by it(except for the mods witch they are charging you upfront for what the community made)
things i wish it have, a better and more detailed opponent UI witch display fastest lap between all racers, current lap time, constant relative.
The Kerb feel a little overkill on the f1, going over it is just a dead sentence.
PS there are some challenges that you need to overtake without causing a collision, with this AI is insane also if they hit you it fails, they need to rethink that, as if you pass them they will still tap you in they catch up.
Manage to beat lvl5AI with the cars but F1 couldnt keep pace, they were 0.5s faster per lap, and the f1 was slower in straight
