So my wife's old phone has been dead for a long time and I thought I wanted to give it a try to fix it.
It didn't receive charging and since the motherboard was in two parts I took a chance to buy the bottom part where the charging port is located. I assumed it had some water damage.
Only previous experience with phones is changing the battery on my Huawei P20 Pro
