India are not yet qualified to play the WTC final in June. Australia have got a place due to their 2-0 series win over South Africa. India needs to win at least two Test matches to seal a place in the WTC final. India have a great home record and should fancy themselves of defeating the number one ranked team Australia. Although India do not have a few senior players like Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant, they have quite a few good batter in batting and bowling. India will yet again be depending on spinners to do their job.
While Australia will be depending on their pace bowlers to do their job. Nathan Lyon the off-spinner is also in good form and has supported the pace bowlers well. Batting looks solid for Australia, with Steve Smith - Travis Head - Khawaja and Labuschagne in good form.
The pitch in Nagpur will favor spinners a bit more. The first two days of the Test match will be good for batting. 310 is the average first innings score here.
