Q) What happened to your RAID? Did you get your data back?
A) When I got home the RAID was working perfectly. Houston identified during the upgrade a power cable was loose on one of the SSD's and fixing that solved the problem. I have all my data!
Q) Why did it take 3 hours to do a minute job?
A) First off, 5 minutes to install a GPU, update a bios, restore all bios settings by hand, install new braces (removing hard drive cage) and playing with the wiring is not a 5 minute job. But the truth is it took longer then expected due to some trouble shooting and my constant distractions during the stream.
Q) It's an SSD not a Hard Drive
A) Technically yes, but like many things in language people associate with the broader more common term when reference things not by specifications but by their utility or purpose. If you go to any website you will find SSD's under the Hard Drive section.
