Okay, I googled and figured out what the actual problem with pickung up items is. One of the mods is still not up to date since the big game update, so I had to simply deactivate it and voilà: it works again! Today, we're meeting Captain Rokov on his ship and we're using him for our plans. Let's see if we can do things all sneaky here or if it escalates again. :D
