Part 1 of my Lickitung quest, where I hunt a Full Odds Shiny Lickitung (and a Lickillicky in gens 5 and 8) in every single generation of Pokémon. I started with Gen 3 cause it's the hardest one (only available through breeding) also no flame body in rs and frlg lol but anyway I'm gonna do gens 3-1-2-4-5-6-7-8 :
Gen 1: Blue NPC trade gonna be sent to gen 8
Gen 2: 100% Repel Trick with 5% encounter rate (normally 15% but already did a Phase and there will be other cases of phasing for future gens, this is the only games where you can hunt 100% Repel Trick so Imma do that)
Gen 3: Full Odds eggs
Gen 4: Platinum (Radar?) and evolving the Lickitung into Lickillicky cause it's a Gen 4 Pokemon
Gen 5: White 2 hunting both Lickitung and Lickillicky
Gen 6: X 5% Horde encounters
Gen 7: Ultra Moon re's, maybe full odds S.O.S
Gen 8: With the Isle of Armor DLC I can hunt Lickitung as a wild encounter and Lickilicky as a strong spawn
