LIWACO Emergency Handheld LCD Game 1980s (Back to the 80s)
In this video, I'm featuring the LIWACO Emergency handheld LCD game. There are other games from the same type under another Japanese manufacturer, Matsushima. LIWACO (German pronunciation) represents the initials of the founders: Liebermann (Ernst) and Waelchli (Johann), who founded the company (Liebermann-Wälchli & Co. AG) in Japan in 1912: https://hls-dhs-dss.ch/de/articles/041789/2004-03-08/
This handheld was released in 1980s (I couldn’t find the exact release year); it has an LCD screen and runs on 2 x LR44 batteries.
Unit measurements (approximate): Length: 13 cm, width: 6 cm, height: 2 cm, screen: 2.2 inches
