The purpose of this video is to compare loading times over the course of 50 area loads using different CPU Clock Override settings within the Dolphin emulator. Time starts the frame the UI appears on screen after the initial load, and ends on the frame the UI appears after the 50th load. Down was held on the stick the entire time to ensure that movement was completely consistent throughout testing.

I tried to have a controlled testing environment, so the only applications running on my pc were OBS and Dolphin.

The tested settings are:
Wii VC (the base comparison): 4:14.550
100% Clock Speed: (default Dolphin setting): 4:13.967 (~0.6% Faster)
115% Clock Speed: 4:05.117 (~4.08% Faster)
118% Clock Speed: 4:03.184 (~5% Faster)
125% Clock Speed: 4:00.334 (~6% Faster)

Dolphin Build:
5.0-21088
Branch: HEAD
Revision: 9240f579eab18a2f67eef23846a6b508393d0e6c

Backend: Vulkan
Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
Internal Resolution: Native (640x528)
CPU: Intel i5-10500

All gameplay recorded on the vanilla JP Wii VC release of the game.
