Definitely better than the G502 (for me)
I used the G502 for more than a year and a half and loved it until the sensor decided to take a vacation and do whatever it wanted. It came to the point where I had to change my DPI and in-game sensitivity almost every round and I couldn't find out what was the issue for the life of me. I just knew it didn't feel right and it came to the point where I got mad and slammed it on the desk too hard and made it unusable lol. That got me to the next one G402. Honest to god I would have bought the 502 again but I saw this for a lot cheaper and decided to go for it and BEST DECISION EVER.
Now to the actual review which is going to be more of a comparison with the mouse i know and loved the most, the 502.
First of all, size wise its slightly and by the tiniest of margins, bigger than the 502. That was awesome because most of the buttons are positioned more away from the default position of my hands so I haven't had mis-clicks at all (I have small hands and use a claw/palm hybrid grip) . That was a huge problem with the 502 as I would mis-click a lot and change my sens in between rounds or ping something I didn't want to and it was sort of a pain in the butt so had to unbind all of the extra features and the dpi switching With this, even the sniper button where your thumb goes, I can't mis-click if i tried to. You need definite movement of your fingers to press everything and I love that. I honestly bought the 502 for the infinite scroll wheel and the side scroller but the amount of times i have mis clicked that and its changed weapons just because the infinite scroll was on was not worth it as the only time I actually wanted to use it was for reading long documents. Similar with the profile switcher which I had to disable because of the same reason.
