Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman was a popular hour long drama in the mid-90s. It modernized the on-screen portrayal of Superman and Clark Kent while attracting non-super hero fans with the relationship drama between Clark and Lois.

The show had its ups and downs over its four seasons and ended on a cliffhanger, but it seems to have been overshadowed by later iterations of Superman on television like in Smallville and Superman & Lois. Does Dean Cain deserve a seat at the Superman table? Does Teri Hatcher come to mind like Margot Kidder when thinking of Lois Lane? Did John Shea bother to shave his head more than once to play Lex Luthor?
