Scream was a breath of fresh air to the horror genre in the 90s. Giving its characters a meta lens to view their situation through allowed for more believable reactions to somewhat absurd situations.
Spanning five movies and an anthology series, Scream is celebrating its 25th Anniversary with the fifth film in the franchise with Scream (2022). Sidney Prescott played by Neve Campbell, Dewey Riley played by David Arquette, and Gale Weathers played by Courteney Cox manage to have survived to the fifth film in the franchise. But the question has to be asked, will they survive the latest entry? Who is the mysterious Ghostface Killer?
