'Loneliest Games Ever' Begin With 100+ Infections, Protests Amid Super Spreader Fear
The Tokyo Games opened Friday at a stadium with roughly 70,000 empty seats, with spectators barred due to the Coronavirus pandemic and an increasing number of infections in the island nation.
Hundreds gathered outside the stadium to protest the games, concerned it'll turn into a super spreader event.
More than 100 people at the Games have already tested positive.
