1. There is HD textures exist for this game, you can find them here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/primal-usa-hd-remaster.621578/. Option in emulator must be turned on to make them work as intended.
2. There is 60 FPS patch exist also, same as some 16:9 fixes. In E:\Games\Old\PCSX2\cheats folder I've SLUS-21042_327053E8.pnach file which contain such lines:

4. For the controls I'm using regular XBOX Series/One X/S, with some buttons rebind:
Throw - B.
Right stick - left to right, right to left.
Right stick - up to down, down to up.
Shoot - RT.
Reload - RB.
Change power - LT.
Use power - LB.
