Longplay a Indie | The Drifter (2025)[Chapter5of9] Forced Brain Surgery
and the reviews for the drifter those that gave it 8/10 are correct ... then the derpy Eurogamer 5\5 (that well is now also IGN , since it was sold to them) ... One review shows, the player gave its note for VO\Graphics\Presentation\Michael Crichton story that you feel was inspired by one of his Scfi books ... and that they only played till Chapter 3 of 9 ... the other showing its a linear scripted game , but when first 3 chapters have story hints ... later on there are like absent ... and your stuck ... of yeah did you knew you have to talk to a cop , then go back to your sister house and 4 times look at her bills , then talk about her car again to the cop ... and then look at those bills again to get her plate ... to tell a cop he should track her car... no ? ... JUST SO YOU CAN TRIGGER A NEW SPOT you had to by random click 2 times on a type writer , when you visit the news paper scene to trigger a LETTER ON THE GROUND ... when you re-enter it like 2 or 3 times ... yeah ... and that is Chapter 4 ... Chapter 5 is a mess ... when you had to by Moon fart logic , figure it out you have to throw a piece of plaster on a BROOM to flip it ... to trigger a new script ... WOW ...
Moon logic in a retro pixel horror game to PAD it ... its only good when its tied to the story , here its like ... "Runaway: A Road Adventure" series logic when to change batteries on a toy you had to : Look at the toy , find a screw driver to open the lid , and ... wait for it ... not use the BATTERIES ON THE TOY that has now the open lid in the look mode ... BUT TOY ON THE BATTERIES ... when your not in the look mode ... hahaha , what ? ... the steps to free yourself in Chapter 5 have this logic and beyond ... "Nightmare Frames" from 2022 even if it also had this padded logic was sane enough to let you get it ... here ... let me guess patch logic
