Loopz | 1990 | Addictive Puzzle Challenge! | Game Boy Classic (DMG)
Loopz is a puzzle video game designed and programmed by Ian Upton for the Atari ST in 1989. The Nintendo Entertainment System version (programmed by Bits Studios) and the Game Boy version (programmed by Argonaut Software) were released in 1990. The main focus is on the playing board where random pieces of different shapes are presented to the player.
GAME RECORDING INFO:
The game was integer scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio. I also use a shader / filter that simulates the image of the original Game Boy Screen. And also I created a classic Gameboy image to use as a bezel above the game, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
