Lord Of War You call me a 'burden', but unfortunately for you, I am a necessary "burden"
0The videos contained in this 'reject pile' contain elements or themes that make them unsuitable for inclusion in the main body of Tales from an Evil Empire. The videos contained within are listed here for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:
a) The protagonists within the scenarios depicted have elements that are seen as unsavoury, evil, or otherwise negative, but are a relative 'good' compared to the antagonists in the same scenario
b) The protagonists are inherently unsavoury, evil, or otherwise negative, and they are just as bad as the antagonists, but their elements otherwise contain some value for the purpose of showing you the reality of my situation
c)The protagonists embody the point of view of my abusers, whereas the 'antagonists' have character or narrative elements that make them the 'relative' good, or it is unclear who is the protagonist or antagonist
d)The situation within a video or audio clip endorses or otherwise promotes the prospect of dying or my ultimate defeat
e) The scenario depicted shows pain, suffering and misery caused by misdeeds committed against 'family', or the knowledge that 'family' will suffer pain and misery as a result of knowing of misdeeds committed against the 'protagonist'. (This is because my suffering is inflicted on me by my own family, whereas pain and suffering as a shared 'family experience' is a common theme in works of 'tragedy'. If I didn't create these 'Reject Piles', then I would miss out on a great deal of material that doesn't fit my situation directly, but otherwise provide a tangible benefit of shared understanding).
f) The scenario depicted contains the exploration of niche and complex processes or fields (such as Nuclear Physics) that do not directly relate to my situation, but due to great carelessness of those in positions of authority, and due to the suffering of those who pay the price of the negligence and ineptitude of others, makes for a source of material that is not a direct connection to my situation, but again provides a tangible gain in understanding, provided that the viewer looks past niche terminology and instead attempts to understand what they see or hear with their heart, not their mind.
g) The scenario depicted shows a protagonists/group of protagonists fight back against aggressive antagonists in a way that goes far beyond mere self-defence, and ends up 'pushing' back against the antagonists in an attempt to take their life or otherwise inflict severe injury/mutilation in retaliation for wrongs exacted against the protagonist(s)
h) Contains scenarios that show the extent to which I suffer pain as a result of the wrongdoing of others, but in a way that pushes the bounds of established norms of 'mature' and 'violent' content that would put people off wanting to help me were the materials included in the main body of materials
i)The scenario depicted shows the situation from the 'point of view' of an investigatory or legal authority. While it may not be apparent immediately what constitutes a 'POV' that is not mine, but it is possible if you should 'feel' about what you see, rather than think. If it's still not apparent, I (Jonathan) can answer questions on request. These scenarios that depict a third party's 'POV', the 'protagonists' can be in interaction with a character or theme associated with myself, my family, or both within the same medium. But ask if you're still not sure.
j) The scenario depicted within the medium showcases or endorses an idea or set of ideas that I would never endorse or give my approval to ever but are still included to show to gravity of my situation. Be advised that I do not endorse any themes, concepts, or ideas within any of the video or audio files I have included within these Tales from an Evil Empire, except for the express purpose of informing and educating those who either inquire as to my situation, or whose help and support I so desperately need.
