Retaking the Echo Isles is a pre-Cataclysm event which sees the Darkspear trolls, lead by their valiant leader Vol'jin, claiming their old homeland once again. Part 1 of this video series details all of the quests leading up to the final assault on the isles, and Hexmaster Zalazane's ultimate defeat at the end of it. It should be noted that this footage was taken on version 3.3.5 of the PTR. That means that while most things worked correctly, there is still a chance for the quests to undergo changes before it is pushed live. This event will disappear once Cataclysm is released, with the Echo Isles becoming the new Troll starting area.
