My first AOE2 death match ranked 1v1 following on from coaching in DM from the queen of death match, Brisolyn and also pro player Clemonsor.

I felt as though I did ok in my first death match ranked 1v1. A lot of what you have to do feels unnatural to me as a RM player, like building things so close to the town centre and how fast and chaotic death match is for example. It was great fun though and I will certainly be trying again in the future. My reasons for wanting to learn death match is because I think the fast pace and expanding the eco across the map as a priority early on will help with my late game in RM.

I now have 2 wins in 3 DM games and I’m really looking forward to my next age of empires ii: definitive Edition death match coaching session!
