8Welcome to the first episode of "Lost ColecoVision Homebrew Projects". In this video, I'm showing two projects I've started long time ago and I don't think I'll finish them.
Dragon's Castle - October 2001, Wizard Battle - June 2003.
Dragon's Caslte is my first try of a text adventure game for the ColecoVision. Based on a program written in BASIC and published in a book long time ago. The reasons why I didn't continue the game is : complains about the text in french (remember I'm a french canadian), lack of interrest in a text game for ColecoVision, other projects.
Wizard Battle is my first try of a card game for the ColecoVision. Based on a real card game named Emerlaüs (or whatever) I did enjoy playing at that time with my friends. The reasons why I didn't continue the game is : the winner is always based on random chance than strategy, and can't be played by more than one human player because the player's cards are displayed on screen.
