Released for the Wii in 2011 by Hudson,the last game the company created before they went under. This game is an action-adventure game that has a style akin to Ico or Shadow of the Colossus. A young boy's shadow has been cut from his real body,and tossed off the top of a large tower. Now the boy's shadow must make his way back and climb back up the tower,if he has any hope of getting back to his body. He's not alone though,a fairy named Spangle shows up to aid him. Spangle can interact with objects in the "real" world and make new paths for you to traverse. As you are a shadow,you can only walk along shadows in the background. Collect Memories along the way,these increase your max health in the form of Weight. The first major area you'll be going through is called the Garden,and it's here you'll learn how to walk along shadows and move objects in the foreground and such. In each area just about,you'll need to collect 3 keys called Monitor Eyes,these dissipate the walls blocking the exit. You can even ride on some objects as you move them to reach new areas. If you come across a Shadow Gate,you typically must pass through it in order to continue on. Make it to the exit in these areas to clear the corridor and continue on. Eventually,you'll reach the Tram Station,and ride a cart back over to the Tower Exterior. Past the Gates,you'll reach the Pillar Path. Here you'll start running into the tower's defenses,here it's machines that spit arrows at you. Once you reach Floor 1 of the Tower,you'll start seeing the first enemies of the game,Spiders. Ignore them for now,and you'll soon find a weapon,the Rusty Sword! Now you can fend off any attackers. Kill the Spider ahead and continue on.
