Lost Judgment - Part 97: Final Chapter: Darkest Before the Dawn
5The final chapter of the game is a long one, full of revelations, drama, and a lot of fighting! First off, keep in mind that once you go to interview Ehara, you won't be able to travel freely between the two cities anymore, so if anything requires that, do it now.
When interviewing Ehara, point out that "He still has the murder weapon". After that, this is your last chance to do anything in Kamurocho, set out to Ijincho once you've got nothing left to do or buy there.
After more cutscenes in Ijincho, you get one last chance to freely explore it and do whatever you need, once you talk to Sugiura outside of Yokohama 99, your freedom will be greatly restricted. When you've ready to proceed, tell him and you'll go inside, where Tsukumo will reveal something he's discovered that could change everything...
But a situation arises as Matsui shows up with bad news, Koda and Akane are in RK hands and they want Yagami to come for some payback, naturally, we're running right into the obvious trap and the ensuing boss fight against RK Members! You're teaming up with Higashi there against 9 opponents, most of them are unremarkable but the boss packs a punch with that pipe and is pretty angry! Tsukumo will also assist by tossing stun grenades from his drone so make use of that to get openings on the enemies.
After beating them, you'll see Soma and then move one month forward, to Ehara's trial. During it, show the "Overhead View of Station Platform", say that "We have reason to doubt the victim's credibility.", "You're familiar with Jin Kuwana, yes?", and lastly show the "Recorded Call with Sawa-sensei". This'll suspend the trial and a call from Kuwana will point at his location, you'll then be back in Ijincho with one final chance to stock up on items.
Once done, meet up with Kaito at the Southern end of Isezaki Road and you'll get started on the very intense finale of the game! You'll first face a few waves of enemies, nothing too bad, but that's just a warm-up. After driving off to your Final Destination, you'll get to the real fun as Tsukumo's estimate of one hundred RK members proves to be close to the truth! Most of the enemies here are rather weak, but a lot also have weapons, and above all, be careful of the gun-wielding guy near the end!
But you're far from done! More enemies are waiting inside and you'll have to go through a lot of them, some parkour will also be involved, and eventually you'll find Soma along with a lot of RK men, and it'll be a fight! Focus Soma here, once he's sufficiently weakened, he'll run off and the fight will end with you getting a chance to save your game before...
Another fight with Soma! He fights much like the first time but has a lot more health while you, as the player, are probably starting to feel tired after all that fighting (That or I'm just really getting old)! Stay on your toes when he's almost down since you'll need to hit a QTE to finish the fight (Left, X, Triangle on Hard difficulty), fail and you take damage while he refills his last health bar, win and the fight ends.
And ultimately, Yagami will have to show his Unwavering Belief to Kuwana in a final battle! You should know how Kuwana fights by now, he mostly has the same style, but with far more health and aggression, don't let your guard down when he's on the ground since he'll often hit you as he gets up. When the battle is almost won, a QTE will pop up (R1, Left, Triangle on Hard), fail it and you take damage while Kuwana regenerates, succeed and you've won!
After all that, you'll finally get to see the denouement of this grand story, what a ride it's been!
