2You have to understand where this is going now. I mean, Mr. SkellyBones and I are going to continue walking down semi-lit hallways getting attacked by naked, sexually charged grabby-hands enemies until we can eventually shoot everything dead. That's it. Is it 2-Dimensional in its plot - yes, but that's what i like about the simplicity of it. There isn't much nuance and explanation needed. Shoot the thing, survive. Go here, do this, and get out alive. Rinse and repeat. In my bones, i know Isaac is secretly telling himself the age-old addage, "I'm getting too old for this shit," but honestly, this shit NEVER gets old; And we've got much more to come!
