Low Sun @ The Unicorn - 24.08.17
A night of Sludge and Superlatives, The Day of Locust headline with support from Sedulus, Low Sun and Ikarus
The time has come for some mighty sludge, psych and rock'n'roll to give us an early start to the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
This show will have two seasoned bands and two bands first outings and we are delighted to have all four of them on one bill.
Ikarus will be applying their sludge mentality upon us as opening band of the night with their first live show.
Similarly, Low Sun will also be debuting with their blend of psych and stoner to delight us all.
Sedulus are currently in the midst of a tour around the town so are well and truly warmed up to provide us with a heavy and brutal showing of their hauntingly ambient stoner sonic waves
Finally The Day of Locusts, fresh from their recent trip onto the continent to promote Anglo-European relations post brexit, return to London to bring the full weight of their debut album 'From the Gutter to the Gods' to the Unicorn along with a few surprises!
Along with the unique and usual merriment of the delightful staff at the Unicorn, we hope you can come down and start the weekend off early with a dose of a heavy but mellow blend.
Sorry to say that I missed the 1st band :(
