Hai, I play D.Va. I can show you things. I also play other heroes because I try* to flex. But, I play D.Va real good. Please Like and Share with all your D.Va friends! Here is the full script:

"Let me start by saying the best D.Va skin is Carbon Fiber and if you don't agree, then we probably can't be friends.

Sup, for those of who don’t know, I’m Nerd and I’m a Top 500 D.Va main depending on the week. My goal with this series is to take you from a Dollar Menu D.Va and transform you into a Dorito Eating Queen. I’ll try to keep these videos under 5 minutes, because that’s the longest any of us can focus.

This video will be me telling you how to be a DM god. Like it or not, we are all slaves to the Matrix. But, if you can learn to use matrix appropriately you will climb. Throughout the video I will be showing clips of how to appropriately use DM. The clips aren’t always going to line up with what I am saying, so watch the clips and listen to my voice, but don’t always correlate the two especially towards the end of the video.

Now, here is my comprehensive Matrix tip list for high level D.Va play:

1. Defense Matrix is one of the best abilities in the game, if not the best. It can eat ults, protect you, and protect your teammates. It also lasts longer than the resource bar says it does by a few milliseconds.

2. Don’t forget that you can Matrix through shields. As a side note, that really doesn’t make sense because D.Va “shoots down” ultimates.

3. Learn the reload cycles of heroes and use that to your advantage while Matrixing. You can easily 1v1 Tracers and Soldiers with proper timing. This is called Flash Matrixing or just Flashing. Make sure to boop the Soldiers out of their healing aura. You can technically kill Roadhog during his reload cycle, but a good Roadhog usually tries to bait and wait DM out or wait until hook is off cooldown. However, if you keep DM on him, he is basically an ult charger for the rest of your team.

4. The order you should prioritize Matrix is the following:

a. Protecting a teammate while he or she is ulting (Soldier, McCree, Genji, Reaper, Pharah, Roadhog, etc.)
b. Protecting a teammate who’s gotten hooked.
c. Predicting an enemy ultimate, like Tracer’s, Hanzo’s, Zarya’s or Mei’s.
d. Protecting your team in general from any sorts of projectiles.
e. Flash Matrixing an enemy when engaging in a fight (such as Soldier, Tracer).
f. Walking backwards while Matrixing while trying to flee or reposition.

5. There is almost never a need to hold down Matrix for a full 4 seconds. The only times it might be necessary is during an enemy hero’s ultimate like Soldiers, during a stall tactic, or if your Rein’s shield breaks. The lesson here is to always use Matrix but never press right-click just to press right-click.

6. D.Va’s best maps are some of the most hated maps: Hanamura, Volskaya, and Anubis. The reason is that she is an excellent staller and can eat the ults of the heroes commonly used like Zarya and Mei.

7. Although Zarya “counters” you, remember that you counter the whole point of her kit, which is the Graviton. I still will pick D.Va into Zarya’s in Top 500 because eating a single Grav is enough to: 1. Shift the game and 2. Tilt the player and the enemy team. You shouldn’t underestimate the effect tilt has on players.

8. Don’t forget D.Va’s Matrix can eat McCree’s flashbang and Ana’s Sleep Dart and Grenade. So, if your Ana boosts your Rein, Matrix the enemy team’s Ana and Rein won’t get slept or purpled.

9. Don’t fly in and initiate with Matrix. This is the biggest mistake I see being made. You should not be the first person in the middle of 4 enemy heroes. D.Va is not built for that sort of engagement anymore. Stay with your team, protect your team, contest high ground players, pick off low health heroes, and always go back to your team.

10. And finally, if you dive and cannot secure the kill, always prioritize fleeing back to your team’s supports so that they can heal you up. A D.Va without a mech cannot Matrix. Knowing the right time to flee comes with practice. But, for example, say you see that 3 of your 6 teammates got killed. Instead of continuing to fight and stagger yourself, consider fleeing back and letting your supports heal you. Not only does that save time, but it also feeds your support’s ultimates and stop the enemy from feeding off you.

I’m sure I forgot a point or two during this video, but that’s okay because I think this will help some of you improve and that’s my goal. I’ll add more to the description if necessary.

Ahh, one more thing. Out of respect for yourselves, never Matrix a rip-tire, because that’s f**king dumb."
