I've noticed that balancing has always been a huge issue among most indie games, and unfortunately, Please the Gods is no exception. It does have the package of a great game in the making but it sorely needs to fix its unfair combat/event system that's too reliant on the RNG. Adding a little luck works wonders to keep combat unpredictable and exciting, but if it's too much, like in this current version of the game, you'll just end up feeling like the AI is conspiring against you and there is no way you could win... like what I felt by the end of my livestream.

Due to this, I cannot recommend buying this game at its current state.
