After getting our revenge on those giant assholes, we get to explore that area a little, and make a sort of u-turn into the area we saw previously that, for some reason, I really wanted to get to. There WAS a lamp there, but not where I thought. Also, a normal enemy model that hits WAY harder than usual. What I thought was a lamp was actually an NPC summon area, because it's time to fight Ludwig! Ludwig is alive! Sort of! I mean, Ludwig is alive, but he's totally Ludwig the Accursed, the first boss in the DLC, and he's an asshole. He seems similar in fighting style to Vicar Amelia, but with a little Blood-Starved Beast thrown into the mix, and some projectile vomit. But halfway through the fight, he remembers his blade (which, contrary to previous belief, is NOT "Ludwig's Holy Blade" that I've been using since very early in the main game). He wields the true holy blade, the Holy Moonlight Blade, which is almost identical to the Moonlight Greatsword of Dark Souls fame. His second form seems a bit easier than the first, at least more predictable, but by the time I get to it, I've used up almost all of my blood vials. But not to worry, because A Hunter is Never Alone...

The Old Hunters is an expansion DLC for the game, Bloodborne. Similar to the game, players will be immersed in a new nightmare world, where the restless spirits of hunters from the past continue to linger. Players will learn more about the history of Yharnam, and will face the Hunters who are trapped inside a nightmare, not unlike the one they reside in the main game. However, these Hunters are said to have guarded Byrgenworth's deepest, darkest secrets.
A world drenched in blood, lit by a possessed moon. Its light shows familiar buildings half swallowed by sludge, leaning over, distorted. It is here that hunters of old, riddled by nightmares, endlessly pursue beasts. The nightmare where the Hunters laid trapped, forever crazed by the blood of mindless beasts, is a manifestation of the misdeeds of the first Hunters, all of whom are now trapped within this wretched world. However, secrets are secrets for a reason, as some are unsettling and horrifying when unraveled...
...and yet, it's time someone undid this charade.
