Battle against the Egg Dragon. (Bonus Battle)
It's an optional battle, you can face the Egg Dragon after giving him 4 set of 8 dragon eggs.
In the last one speak again to him and he'll challenge you to a battle.
This is to toughest battle you'll face in the entire game.
My strategy is always based on giving to Maxim and Guy both Dragon Blades or
Lizard Blow and equip Selan and Artea both with the Bunny Sword.
In the first turn, I always boost the attack stats of Maxim and Guy.
While Guy uses Dragonfire and either Selan or Arty cures with Valor then the other uses battle Fury to deal the first massive amount of damage. Then repeat the sequence for Defense Stats and attack with Battle Fury again.
After this, is just matter of curing always on every round and attack with your fighters with Dragonfire and normal attacks.
Over-easy sometimes could be annoying and can ruin the strategy, for that always be prepared with rally if a member gets KO'd until the Dragon change his battle combat and deal less or no damage to the member revived. Then cointinues with the procedure.
In my case, it was an easy win due to maximized levels. But the strategy succeds in lower levels.
Hope you enjoy, overall, it's a pretty fun battle. And beating him will allow you to get the Egg Sword which minimizes ATP Stats but does have the powerful IP "Hardboiled", and the Egg Ring which maximizes all your stats to 999 except Guts.
