Die neue Palit GTX 1080Ti kommt von Haus aus mit einem Quadkopter als Luftkühlung. Nicht unbedingt ideal für einen flüsterleisen PC, denn die Rotoren sind deutlich hörbar. Palit hat die Lautstärkeprobleme auch bestätigt und will ein optionales BIOS-Update veröffentlichen, welches das Powertarget senkt und damit indirekt die Lautstärke reduzieren soll. Wie gut, dass unser Grafikkarten Guru Raff weiß, wie man das selbst lösen kann: Plastikabdeckung und Quadkopter weg, neue Lüfter (Noiseblocker B12-2) drauf! Im Video seht ihr, warum die Karte ohne laute Lüfter sehr wohl Vorzüge hat und wie man auch mit der Palit GTX 1080 Ti GameRock ohne BIOS-Update ordentliche Temperaturwerte hinbekommt.
