Luigi's very fast and powerful aerials are extremely useful here. Luigi can combo Giga Bowser for days if given the opportunity, and can kill him very easily while being able to safely hit him at zero damage. His aerials are so fast and strong Luigi can even get out of a jab lock from Giga Bowser and other cornered situations by just spamming A. Luigi has a major flaw though in his awful air speed and terrible reach; Luigi can't always attack Giga Bowser without getting struck first or trading, and he can find himself hard pressed to safely get back to the ground after hitting Giga Bowser away. A Wavedash approach is not an option when all three are up, as either Giga Bowser will just fire breath or jab you as you near or you'll get hit by Mewtwo and Ganon. Another significant flaw is Luigi's recovery, which works terribly here; unless you get a misfire that goes above Giga Bowser, it's incredibly unlikely you'll make it back without taking damage, and the slightest misstep can result in your death, along with the slightest hit gimping you.

The most effective means of KOing Giga Bowser are with fair and dair; they're very easy to land and kill Giga Bowser in the 110-130% range. While it's very easy to sweetspot Super Jump Punches on Giga Bowser, it isn't that effective; Giga Bowser can take aerial Super Jump Punches over 100%, and grounded Punches won't kill until nearly 100% where it can be difficult to get in position to land one, not to mention you're very likely to take hits from Mewtwo and Ganon after landing it. That said, aerial Super Jump Punch is a good way to finish off a juggle on Giga Bowser for the kill as long as taking the resulting punish won't hurt too much.

Once Giga Bowser is gone, it gets much better for Luigi. In this stage Luigi can freely wavedash around (though wavedashing towards them when they're bunched together still isn't a good idea) and easily outmaneuver them, while his high jumps allow him to easily jump over them when cornered. Luigi's reach is still an issue, but with how strong and fast his aerials are, he can often safely hit them without retaliation. When you get down to just Ganon or Mewtwo, you pretty much have it won without item bullshit or wavedashing into a wizkick happening.

Overall, Luigi is about low tier at the Showdown, but his extreme offense potential keep a no stock loss run very doable.
