Luigi's Mansion (GameCube) 1080p Gameplay
Halloween is upon us, so what better game to revisit than Luigi's Mansion!?
Originally released as a launch title for the Nintendo GameCube way back in 2001, Luigi's Mansion is one of the most unique "Mario universe" games to date. The gameplay consists of exploring a large, haunted mansion and sucking up ghosts with a powerful vacuum cleaner known as the "Poltergust 3000." Perhaps the best way to describe it is "Ghostbusters meets Resident Evil."
Thanks to the Dolphin emulator, it's now possible to re-experience this awesome game at modern resolutions like 1080p (as shown in the video). If you have a Nintendo 3DS, you can also play the recently-released remaster which adds brand new features like co-op and amiibo functionality.
A sequel, titled Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, was released back in 2013 for the 3DS. Another sequel, whose working title is "Luigi's Mansion 3," is set to be released in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch.
