Overload (PC) Gameplay (Descent is BACK!)
60Blasting my way through the first two levels of Overload, a brand new six-degree-of-freedom (6DoF) shooter from the makers of Descent, the game that helped define the genre.
If you're a fan of Descent, you will absolutely love this game. Everything is there, from the 360° movement to the large, nonlinear levels jam-packed with secrets. There's also a large variety of weapons and enemies, several boss battles, a Challenge mode in which you must survive against endless waves of robots, and even online multiplayer. Additionally, the soundtrack is composed by the same musicians who worked on Descent 1-3.
The only thing that's missing is a level editor, which is scheduled to be released in the very near future.
Overload is now available on PC via Steam and GOG and will be coming to Playstation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
