Lunch at Lechoneria :)
3CEBU 2023: LUNCH WITH MY FAMILY AT LECHONERIA
Lechoneria is a Filipino themed restaurant, mainly serving local delicacy. My boys, opted to have their lunch with my nephew at Shakey's Pizza, two doors away from this restaurant. My boys and nephew are not a big fan for this kind of delectable dishes.
Restaurant location is in SM Seaside (can't remember what wing or side, i.e. Mountain View or Seaview). Nana Gina suggested this restaurant as she's not tried it before and wanted to have a more "posh" Filipino cuisine.
Food wise, I'm not a big eater, I let Nana Gina ordered what she wanted to eat. We got loads! I did taste the lechon, which they are apparently known as for lechon belly. Its crunchy and a bit bland for me, taste wise. I'm not sure if the jetlag plays a role in with my taste bud.
Price wise, a bit more expensive than the usual or typical Filipino inspired restaurant. Portion wise seems good, it feed us for 10 people. I paid around 10k, which seems a lot to think, but that's in Philippine pesos, exchange rate equivalent to ยฃ130 for literally every dish in that restaurant ordered, plus, lots of extra food to take home.
I only had a slice of the lechon belly, achara (green papaya relish) and lechon sauce, and mango juice drinks. I didn't taste the other dishes, as that morning I had a Filipino theme buffet breakfast at the resort.
