A new version of the Lunistice demo released around the end of 2023, to provide a sneak peek at Accel, one of the new characters coming in version 1.5.

Judging by the updated title screen, it would seem like Accel is going to be as major of a character as Hana, and the itch.io page seems to suggest Accel is getting a full-blown campaign. However, it's hard to tell from the demo itself just how plot-heavy that campaign will be, since Accel does not seem to have the opportunity to collect letters and keys/files the way that Hana does.

For those who have tried out all of the playable characters in Lunistice 1.05, Accel feels a bit like a boosted Toukie, since Accel's mid-air dash can cover a lot of distance, somewhat akin to Toukie's multiple mid-air hops. Unfortunately, I find that this can lead to some sub-par conveyance in level design - Accel's exclusive level in the demo (which is a rather interesting mix of multiple OG levels) quickly throws extremely long jumps at you that are harder than usual to sight-read and may leave the player wondering where they're supposed to go next.

Additionally, there was one instance where I managed to dash myself off of a platform, in a case where I thought I was on the ground, having just run up a ramp (Accel is only supposed to dash in mid-air). The air dash could exacerbate an already-existing pain point in the game, in that sometimes you will want to attack as soon as you hit the ground, but it's all too easy to time the attack too soon, resulting in whiffing in the air and possibly landing on an enemy. In Accel's case, you could sail clear over the platform you intended to land on.

I get the impression that Accel's campaign may end up being far more of a challenge than anything we've previously seen in the game. The air dash should be fun, but it's going to take some getting used to how it fits into the levels to really achieve flow with it.
