LV Hiryu MUGEN #14: Silly References: The Character
5Of course, that isn't a bad thing if executed well. Anyway, back to business.
Over the course of my break (aside from the emergency Kim fight), characters came and went, so I play and fight with some. At this point, many of you should already have been aware that Syn's Hiryu has been out for quite some time, but since I stepped away from MUGEN for a bit, I couldn't do my own showing off of what he can do. Thus, he comes back a bit early so I can officially try him out myself. All I can say about this Hiryu are probably stuff that have been said months ago, particularly about the follow-up super jump after hitting the launcher. However, I'm not too sold on how hits work after using the Legion, but I digress.
Regardless, this is a bit of "better late than never" for this fight as I play a bit of catch-up. This also goes for one of The_None's more "interesting" characters, Dee Bee Kaw, as I wanted to fight him since it first came out. I think that this fight should definitely be in the "You Should Have Seen It Coming" case files.

Vucious' Random Rants: Now with things somewhat back to normal, I should get these small tidbits out of the way, and I'll try to make this quick:
1) Still haven't decided on what my next playthrough is going to be, but I am leaning towards a decision.
2) I haven't done much on my [ignorable] storyline as I wanted to over my break, but the fights for the next part have been finished for a while. I just need inspiration to make story panels and whatnot.
3) Things I took from this year's EVO: Legends can fall, comebacks are awesome, and speaking of which - when in doubt, use a character's Lv. 3 command throw super on a [broken] character who clearly outmatches you and then proceed to kick ass.
4) Things I took from over-obsessive fighting fans from EVO: They are so LOL.
5) HA, HA! Whored out characters.
6) Bagel hole + Hot Dog = Slap in face
...
Oh yeah, I have a PS3 now, but that's minor news compared to the the bagel hole and the hot hog.
