LVLS+ Weekly E8 - Indie World
1Welcome to LVLS+ Weekly, my weblog show where I talk about whatever video games stuff strikes my fancy every week, as well as show off any new stuff I've gotten! For this week, I talk about four indie games I've played through so far this year: Streets of Rage 4, Wide Ocean Big Jacket, Donut County and A Short Hike! I also open up the Limited Run Games collector's edition for Streets of Rage 4 and my Festivus present!

I'm an anthropologist who studies video games, cultural differences through localization, and the relationship between games and gender both as characters and as players. I blog heavily (see below for my blogs), am writing books (my first two books are on Amazon!), draw, take photos, and am an active yoga/reiki/meditation practitioner.
Been playing games since I was 2 years old, and have been a pretty ardent follower of Nintendo's consoles since the NES. The Switch is my favorite console of all time. My fifteen favorite games are Beyond Good & Evil, Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, XCOM 2: War of the Chosen, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Skies of Arcadia Legends, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Gris, Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Splatoon 2, Mega Man 3, Bionic Commando, Elevator Action Returns, and Dragon Quest VIII 3DS.
