The Silver Age is a series devoted to the 25th anniversary of a major video game event, an influential video game, or monumental video game franchise.
On this installment of the Silver Age season focusing on 1998, we take a look at Xenogears, and how despite its limitations, grew a fan base that helped evolve the game into a franchise that is still going today. Plus, how Xenogears connects to anime throughout the ages, a hot new Zelda title that recently came out, and Nickelodeon Guts?
Also, we introduce a brand new segment, the newsstand. A spiritual successor to the Nintendo Power covers stream I started during the last holiday season, with the inspiration behind this segment taken directly from @TheBurpMan. Hopefully I can do a Newsstand segment on the Latin Club Nintendo magazine to truly fulfill his ideas. And bunnycartoon is here to help tell us where we can hear some of our favorite performers from another 1998 RPG, Lunar Eternal Blue.
