I show you how to reset a Macs firmware password without having to restart, use the keyboard to load Recovery HD, blah blah blah. This is a much simpler way to access Recovery HD and Firmware Password Utility. This will work on OSX Lion and Mountain Lion, however for Snow Leopard and older it is different. And after I click, "Enter Password," you will have to enter and admin's name and password. I just edited that out so my password would not show.

Here are the codes to type into Terminal:

defaults write com.apple.DiskUtility DUDebugMenuEnabled 1

open /Volumes/Recovery\ HD/com.apple.recovery.boot/BaseSystem.dmg
