In order to get to the center of the tree, we have to help Esty gain access rights by traversing sections of the tree maze and various ruins in a specific order. And of course, there will be a boss guarding the important magic circles at the end of each place.
The first of these is Ragnailer, who can inflict poison and instant death. The first status can be handled easily by Retla of course, though the second one may require some reviving items. Make sure you figure out combos so that you can deal over 10000 damage between each of its turns to get around its regen.
This will unlock an Inferno Area, which has two bosses. The first one is the Elite Four member, Garlyle, who is a powerful member of a draconic-humanoid race. He can heal 13000 HP each turn and can buff himself. Despite all this intense fighting, the bridge that they're fighting on is perfectly intact.
The last boss of this area is Gerghed, who can inflict burn and regen 12000 HP per turn. This one should be fairly easy thanks to all the Coolants dropped by the random enemies. Afterwards, the next section of the tree is unlocked.
