The Legacy (Norse Gaming) Episode 5 - Barrel Volcano

While traveling in the Dark Water cavern, be sure to find the Joy Pendant in one of the chests. In Rose Town, there should be yet another Joy Pendant hidden in the house near the shop. This should be enough to get the Warping tune from a Valdosta NPC, allowing much faster travel whenever the plot doesn't ban the harp.
Talk to the Rose Town miner blocking the way to the mine in order to get your next quest. You have to pick an apple from the Tree of Life, which involves some mazes and switch puzzles. Eventually, you'll have to do a memory puzzle that involves torches. There are 4 different possible combinations, so don't just copy my solution.
After picking the apple, you will leave the Tree of Life, only to fight Gagana, which is weak to ice. You then return to town and recruit Oliver to the party, who doesn't really have access to good weapons yet. Now it's time to head into the mines.
The path to the volcano is blocked by a minecart dodging minigame because the foreman couldn't be assed to stall operations for us. Note that the frequency of minecarts increases to a certain point before returning to the lowest frequency. And be sure to save a lot to avoid redoing stuff.
In the volcano, the first boulder pushing puzzle might have the potential to render your game unwinnable if you push the boulders wrong, so be sure to save in a different slot. After all four torches are lit, you will get the Power Gauntlet, which can push gray boulders. Eventually, you'll run into the Minotaur miniboss, who is probably one of the few bosses where their weakness (water) is outright declared.
Boss: Volcano Dwelling Dragon
Surprisingly, the main boss is weak to lightning instead of water. It hits hard and can spend a turn to charge, which will probably require the party to defend if you can't kill it before it launches its attack. After beating this boss, you can finally claim the Fire Orb, leaving only the Spirit Orb to collect.
You can now go to Bordelaux, where the party will split up for a bit. The party will be reunited once Red visits his parents' graves, finds Linnette in the inn, find Ryu in the old Royal Palace, find Oliver in the recital building, find Henry in the game center, and find Daria in her house. Now you have to go to the Pale Sisters Mountain Range to the east, since the game won't let you backtrack to previous towns until you complete this part.
Things of note in Bordelaux:
-You can obtain the Dragon Lance by trading a Green Tear with someone at the bar.
-You can obtain the Dragon Staff by beating the shooting minigame
-You can get the Dragon Shield if you get really lucky at the treasure chest minigame. I haven't had any luck with it so far.
-You can buy Dragon Emblems for a steep price at the mall
-The Dragon Bow is a prize at the game center, along with other rare items. It turns out the Hero Emblem can be purchased there too, so hopefully you didn't waste a Gold Star on it earlier.
-Be sure to deliver the letter from Couronne, though the plot will keep you from delivering the girlfriend's response letter.
