Macro cheating devices in fighting games and how to STOP them
Today’s video documents the uncomfortable reality of macros being used (or rather, misused) in fighting games. It’s fairly rare right now, but with technology rapidly advancing and the thought of these type of devices becoming more commonplace, I think that we, as a community, need to get ahead of the issue. In this vid, I get my hands on a rare piece of tech--a macro device called the Cheatbox V2--to walk you through its capabilities, offer some tips on how you can spot it, and even put forth some ideas regarding what you can do to help me stop its spread in the FGC. Drop a comment to let me know what else you think could be done to help stop macro proliferation.
(And to reiterate, the creator of the device is a super nice and helpful dude on the fightstick scene. He is not continuing with the cheatbox project and he is not selling any of these units. Please don't try to tear him down.)
