Mad Max - How to get Slick Rubs tires - Using hint from "24" relic
23Greetings, everyone.
Today I’m making a new “how to” video and this time we’re showing how to get the Slick Rubs tires for the Magnum Opus. These tires are the last we’ll be unlocking and provide a 25% bonus to traction on asphalt.
The unusual thing about unlocking the tires is the fact that we’re given a hint about their location when Pink Eye gives us a history relic after completing her wasteland mission in which we were asked to get a sail for their ship they were building.
So, once we get that relic and check the picture, we can see a gas station with a “24” sign post and what seems to be a big road on it.
Using the most important hint we have, which is that road in the picture, and the fact that the terrain seems to be a bit “sandy” we can come to the conclusion that we should follow the big road marked on the map and the gas station might be in The Heights region.
So as you can see, the exact place is almost in the frontier between The Heights and Grandrise, and the building shown in the picture isn’t there anymore, but there’s a cellar in which we can find our Slick Rubs.
