Welcome to the second season of the Thunderbirds Relocation Franchise Series! For those of you who are new to the series, I took over last year as the General Manager of this a brand-new NFL team that relocated from the nation's capital to Toronto, an exciting and young new market! It was met with alot of backlash, but I think we went out and silenced alot of the critics by going 16-1 and winning the Super Bowl!

So, again, it is my responsibility to run the day-to-day operations that'll involve signing and trading, cutting and resigning, social media relations, free agency, the NFL Draft, and whatever it takes to build a winning franchise in this new market.

The Thunderbirds are really putting together an impressive run, reminescent of the one they went on last year. This team has no clue how to lose games in the first two months of the season. But there has been something big that happened in the last week that we cannot ignore.

The trading of QB Jordan Love was a very hard decision, but one where the organization felt was necessary for the future. Love was at the helm, quarterbacking this brand-new franchise as it transitioned to Toronto last year and helped them win a Super Bowl in their very first season. But his cap hit was ginormous this year and he was about to be an even heavier financial burden on an organization that doesn't believe having a $50 million/year+ player on roster will ever help a team nearly as much as it costs it. So, they made a move that they feel was in the best interest of this team and wish Jordan Love nothing but success. It is now time to see how Will Levis can lead this squad.
