0Welcome to the second season of the Chicago Bears Rebuild Franchise Series! For those of you who are new to the series, I took over the Chicago Bears in Season 1 of this Rebuild Series. I wanted to see where this team could go in the future.
It will be no different this season than last. In fact, it will be even better. I am going to add some storied content to this blog to make it closer to that of the Relocation series', instead of just purely gameplay.
You know how your team is built the right way? When you can lose your starting quarterback three minutes into a divisional game and the backup picks right up where the team left off, leading them to another blowout victory to start the season. Fields went out with a bruised sternum early in the game, but Mitchell Trubisky - who the Bears brought back in the offseason - was just as effective as he has ever been. He helped lead this offense, to go along with another huge display of dominance by the defense. There has been no better way to start this season than how the Bears have come out of the gate.
Now that Aaron Rodgers has left Green Bay and transferred his "ownership" of Soldier Field over to Jordan Love, it's time that the Bears take back control. It starts with showing the NFC North Rival who the big man on campus is now that the baaaaadddd man has left.
