The new @BUCK_Sandbox visual language they just dropped for their 3 years anniversary (see this post https://www.instagram.com/p/C3JAKfVvyYs ) instantly made me think of an old experiment I did with my MoglyphFX toolset so... here it is :)

MoglyphFX is a very special toolset for #aftereffects as it is entirely based on text layers (shapes are embedded in custom drawn fonts) ;
It allows you to proceduraly clone dozen of glyph shapes in grid, radial, linear, fibonacci arrangements and even along spline path (this is the only tool that I'm aware of that could do this in After Effects!)

Then cloned shapes can be animated procedurally thanks to MoglyphFX powerful Effectors : formula, random, time, sound, step...

You wouldn't believe what you could create within one single text layer (yes, this experiment is fully handled by just 1 text layer)!
