Terrible stage, very satisfied with that score. First attempts were all above the 10 minute mark. In the beginning you're pretty much dedicated to your castle as bees will find you wherever you go. The village will also expand in an unreal manner, taking alot of mana% away from you. Buildings you claimed tends to break dropping into small orbs of lose mana - really unhandy for your balloons.

Your castle won't notify you if it's full at level 5, another thing that can make you lose a considerable amount of time.

I recommend attacking Vodor's castle from distance as griffins will spawn upon approach. Striking from distance with the meteor spell is also faster in general due to frame drops whenever you throw one around.

The Steal Mana spell jar is obtainable by turning around the statues - that you can see on the minimap from my castle - on the beach clockwise.

There's what appears to be an older version of this level which is playable by going beyond level 50. The level is similar except that Vodor's castle is located more on the shore rather than in the middle of the sea.
